Mattresses are double twist hexagonal wire mesh basket of variable sizes, uniformly partitioned into internal cells. All wire is zinc coated by hot-dip galvanizing and for PVC units, heat bonded through extrusion with a 0.5 mm heavy duty PVCcoating.

All mattresses are manufactured in Mesh Type 100mm x 120mm, 80mm x 100mm and 60mm x 80mm.

Gabions are filled with stone at the project site to form flexible, permeable, monolithic structures, such as protection of culverts, bridge abutments, river banks and shorelines, channels and spillways.
